Fun UEA Weekend!

So we couldn't just sit around all weekend and let this beautiful weather be wasted-so we loaded up the fam and headed to Thanksgiving Point for the Scarecrow Festival.   We had gone to this a few years ago and the kids loved it.  They have about 10 blow up slides and mazes and jump houses.  Some are even animals that the kids go in their mouths and then come out the...(well, you know).   There's a whale, a snake and a caterpillar.  I had to go in the whale once when we were here the last time because Max got stuck.  It was pretty cool-oh to be young again!

Just one of the many slides.  There was also rock climbing, bungie jumping on a trampoline, train rides, carnival games, haunted house, and a bunch more.

The boys got their faces painted like spiderman, but that wasn't the original plan.  Boston was going to be a pirate until the girl poked him in the eye with the brush.  oops!  He wanted a new girl and a new style.

This is the finished project and here are my spidermen.   

You're probably wondering why we had an extra mask on hand...well, Max never leaves the house without some sort of costume or wardrobe piece depending on who he is that day.  That day it just happened to be Spiderman.  He was actually wearing the mask most of the time there.

The kids also got to ride in these car/bike things.

Then before we left, we got pictures taken with Shawn Bradley.  Wow he's tall!  Jeff is like 6'5" and he looks so short next to him.  We chatted with him for sometime after and I was getting dizzy looking up at him!

It was a fun night and I had a great time hanging out with all my boys!  They make me laugh so much and it's great to be their mom! (Not Jeff's mom, just B and M's mom).

SATURDAY.....UTAH GAME.......AGAIN.  

What is up with me?  Can't I get enough?  

This time, some friend's of ours gave us their tickets because they were going deer hunting.  We had a great time and felt so spoiled to be in the sky box.  It was first class all the way!  Food, Drinks, personal masseuse,  okay not really, but it was really fun!  We sat in the first row of the sky box and didn't really pay attention to anyone that was around us.  There was this one guy behind us that kept making comments about the game and everyone would laugh.  I didn't bother to look behind me until the fourth quarter to see who it was...Can you see him in this picture?  

It was Frank Layden!  He was so nice to take a picture with us and he even gave me a Snicker's Bar.  He told Jeff to watch out for old men that give candy to little girls!

It was a fun weekend, but whoa, it wore me out!
