Good Things Utah

Fun times with they Young Women.  We went to GTU last week and had a great time!  Maybe you saw us on TV?

Bountiful Parade

Who are these kids?  I ask them to stand under the tree and say cheese and they give me the gangster look.  What the heck?  I've NEVER seen that before from these boys...where did they learn that?  At least we haven't seen it since!

Check out those bags of candy!  I love this parade-even gpa loved it!

First Day of School

Two weeks of summer is NOT enough!  But I guess you do what you've got to do...so back to school on July 20.

Max with his teacher Ms. Fine.

Second Grade-can you believe it!!!  B with Ms. Sube

Fishing

We LOVE to fish, but we haven't done near enough this summer.  This was our first trip of the summer and caught nothing...but we threw lots of rocks!  Boston said this was the BEST DAY EVER!!

Classic Water Slides

I've seen this place a million times, and sometimes even wondered if it was still open.  Well, it is and its my boys new favorite place~ Classic Water Slides!!

Let me tell you the best thing about this place and why they like it so much...because you don't have any hovering lifeguards blowing their whistles every time you move.  (Seriously, Clearfield, if you don't want kids to touch the big blue bouys don't put them in the kiddy pool).  Anyway, at this place you pretty much get hammered, but they had so much fun going together, going on their tummies, going however they want.  Max would get to the end and come over crying about how he hurt something and I would love on him for a few seconds and then off to do it again.  They LOVE IT!  Seriously, the best place.

California Trip

Sea World

Feeding the Sea Lions-loud little buggers.

Yea Shamu!

Beach, Beach and more Beach!

These boys had a great time together.

Our evening activities at the Newport Coast Villas.

More Beach.

The big hit was searching for sand crabs.  I think we found around 50 of them and it was hard to let them go..

Some of the fellas..

Okay, so this was cool.  We made camp by these people playing volleyball. And as I walked back to the car to get stuff the guy in the middle with the red and black shorts called my name!  What the heck!  It was Jake Gibb, one of the US Olympic beach volleyball players.  I knew him from back in my Bountiful days and I couldn't believe he would remember me.  We got to chat for a bit and he got to meet my fam.  It was pretty neat after watching him in Beijing last year.  It was also so cool to see the top women's team in the country and his team practicing.  Way cool.

Newport Coast Villas had fun activities for the kiddos.

Lovin the pool.

Boston won second place in the paper airplane competition.  He beat out ten other kids and lived up to our family expectations of taking second.  We are so proud!!!

Good times in California!  Thanks Hartley's for the invite- we love you guys!!!

Boston's 7th Birthday

Boston Bean is 7 years old now!  Holy Cow!!  I can't even believe it!  We are so lucky to have him in our family.  He keeps us laughing and smiling constantly.
