Boston goes solo.
Max and Jeff hamming it up.
Max and Jeff hamming it up.I've been married to Jeff for almost 8 years and I have never been ice fishing with him. My boys have gone a handfull of times and loved it! I wasn't going to go on this manly bonding trip either, but I decided to grace them with my presence at the last minute. I was a little nervous about wandering out on the ice, especially since the top was all slush, but Jeff assured me that there was still 8 inches of ice below us. It was a great day! In all, we caught about 20 fish and brought some home to eat. It really was fun and I am for sure there the next time they go. By the way, I did try to keep my son in a coat. He assures me that he is "warm". Crazy kid.
This is my little man Max. Except today he is requesting that we call him "Jeff". Thats all fine, but it might take some getting used to on my part. Max, I mean Jeff, on the other hand, has made the transition quite well. He won't answer to Max, and automatically answers to Jeff. I think its because he wants to be just like his Dad and loves him so much.
He is so funny lately. Whenever he needs me, or is talking to me, he calls me "mother". Who does that? I didn't teach him to do that-I'm not even sure I like it. And to top that off he calls Boston "brother". I don't think I've heard him call Boston by his real name for a couple of weeks now. Lots of people have heard him do this and then they turn to me and say-"Did he just call him 'Brother'?" I guess he is just getting ready to play a more active role in the church.
