Yea! Only one more really long run left after today before the Ogden Marathon. So today we did our 18 miles. Oh boy, it was interesting. We saw some beautiful sights, ran uphill (both ways) in the wind, saw buffalo and antelope, found a fuzzy caterpillar for Boston, laid in the middle of the road to stretch at 9 miles, and passed most of the bikers on our way.....okay, they all passed us-maybe next time.

This is Angie. Besides Angie looking good, so does all the beautiful scenery. We ran all the way to the point behind her head and further.

On the causeway out to Antelope Island. I felt like I was running in place for 6 miles.

I think this is the first time in my life I have ever seen buffalo-they were HUGE! And a bit scary that they were just right off the road too. I guess as long as I'm not the slowest, I'll be okay-sorry girls. I do owe them however for carrying my water and Gatorade the whole way. I was without a camel back pack for water, so they volunteered to add some weight to their load. Thanks, girls, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!...right? :)
At the end of our LONG 18 miles we sat down and waited for our ride.
