I've been married to Jeff for almost 8 years and I have never been ice fishing with him. My boys have gone a handfull of times and loved it! I wasn't going to go on this manly bonding trip either, but I decided to grace them with my presence at the last minute. I was a little nervous about wandering out on the ice, especially since the top was all slush, but Jeff assured me that there was still 8 inches of ice below us. It was a great day! In all, we caught about 20 fish and brought some home to eat. It really was fun and I am for sure there the next time they go. By the way, I did try to keep my son in a coat. He assures me that he is "warm". Crazy kid.

How fun!! Jeff used to tie us a fly every time we came to visit. I don't think we knew there were for fishing--we just thought there were cool. Your boys are so handsome.

So fun! That is Del's dream come true! Both boys catching fish in the freezing cold! We passed a lake with a shelter lite up on the way home the other night, and it had Del drooling. I too remember Jeff with a pole in his hand growing up. On the lake in front of Aunt Trina's and practicing his cast in the front room.

How funny is Max? Your boys are so darn cute and I think it's awesome Jeff has taken them fishing so much.
